The most sophisticated technology in the world is only as effective as the people operating it. Sustainable national cyber defense requires a skilled, alert, and continuously developing indigenous workforce — one that understands both the technical realities of modern threats and the policy frameworks within which they must operate. SNSF's Cybersecurity Capacity Building and Training service is designed to grow that workforce from the ground up, delivering tailored programs for government IT teams, security operations analysts, policy officials, and executive leadership across all levels of the public sector. Our curriculum spans technical disciplines — network defense, incident handling, malware analysis, penetration testing fundamentals, and secure software practices — as well as strategic topics including national cyber policy development, risk governance, and international cyber norms. Training is delivered through a combination of classroom instruction, live-fire simulation exercises, tabletop crisis scenarios, and mentorship from SNSF's senior practitioners. Every program is designed not just to transfer knowledge, but to build lasting institutional capacity that Somalia can own, sustain, and grow independently over time.
