Free and fair elections are the foundation of democratic legitimacy, and protecting them from cyber interference is a national security imperative. SNSF's Election Security Protection service provides comprehensive, end-to-end cyber defense for the entire electoral ecosystem — from voter registration databases and candidate management systems to results transmission networks, election commission IT infrastructure, and the digital communications of political campaigns. Our teams conduct pre-election security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited, deploy real-time monitoring throughout the election period, and stand ready for immediate incident response should interference be detected. Beyond technical defenses, SNSF identifies and counters influence operations, disinformation campaigns, and social media manipulation efforts targeting public trust in the electoral process. We work in close coordination with the National Electoral Commission and relevant security agencies to ensure that every vote cast reflects the sovereign will of the Somali people — free from foreign manipulation or domestic sabotage.
